On Monday, Mini went to Koala school. All the kids sat in rows of branches, and practiced napping without falling off.

On Tuesday, Mini took her gymnastics class, and did  a cartwheel on top of Giant George’s head! George didn’t mind…he was napping again.

On Wednesday, Mini climbed way up into the eucalyptus tree. She was able to move faster and further than her friends, and she showered them with tasty leaves.

On Thursday, Mini was tired from climbing, but she still had more energy than all of her classmates. She practiced swinging up into her favorite branch and then grabbing the end with her back claws like a sloth.

Friday was home study day. Mini M’s parents took her to the eucalyptus tea shack, and they sat among the trees, sipping strong tea, and dipping rice crackers into their mugs.

Mini M thought for a long time, and finally said,

“Thanks for making me a Koala, Mom and Dad, “I love being ME!”

“Of course, Mini,” said her mom. “You were never going to be anything else. Being a Koala means you can have adventures among the leaves, and go to school with your friends, and you’ll always be my Mini!”

Then they touched noses, finished their tea, and went home for a long and wonderful nap.
